Dear patients,
The Covid-19 vaccines in Poland are strictly under government control. Regardless of nationality, you can get vaccinated for free if you fulfill the criteria. Currently only people over 70 can receive the shot. We don’t know when the vaccinations of younger groups will start, it depends on the number of vaccines that Poland receives from a common EU pool. The Healthcare team volunteered to administer Covid-19 vaccines with our patients in mind. We are about to start vaccinating the first group (80+). We will inform you about any changes as they occur.
What you can do now is register for an individual patient’s account on the government website (pacjent.gov.pl). When you have your account, the government recommends that you register for the vaccine waiting list (szczepimysie.pacjent.gov.pl). It’s good to do it until the end of March because then you’ll get the referral for the vaccination automatically when they open for your age group. Otherwise you’ll have to ask your doctor to register you manually. It is very easy for patients who have a PESEL number. For patients who have no PESEL, their doctor can write a referral for them. Unfortunately the website is in Polish only. You can ask your Polish-speaking friends to help you.
